Features

The pistoiese mountain sleeper (Hygrophorus marzuolus), is a fungus also known as “sleeper” or “marzuolo”; It is characterized by the hat of varying color from grayish white to brownish gray, for the slats that are white-gray, spaced, of buttery texture and a little walking.
The stem, usually stocky and cylindrical, has a color ranging from white to subconcolor to hat.
The meat is white or grayish, with a pleasant scent reminiscent of honey; the taste is very delicate.

It is often present with numerous carpophores also stumped and very buried in the litter of the conifers, so much so that it makes it difficult to see.
